The default setting for viewing the forums was "threaded," which the software developer recommended, but I have found that I prefer the linear view, which is the traditional viewing mode for bulletin board-style forums. You also have the option of listing the oldest or newest posts first. Experiment with it and see what you prefer. When you are viewing a thread, there is a menu option near the top right that says "display" and there you may select your preferred mode. The setting seems to be persistent throughout the forums, and is also available in your user settings, reached through the Settings link at the very top right of each page.

If anyone else has tweaks or tips for the other members, blog it on your personal blog, and if we have a lot of them turn up I'll create a "User Tips" forum in the public area.

    Enjoy!

THANK you for that tip, David! I was going nuts with only being able to see one post per page in the "threaded" view. But I did like seeing the post "tree" that shows how the posts are related to each other, so I was glad to find that I could also select a "hybrid" view. It shows both the tree and multiple posts per page.
