Ladies, this forum is for you. Hang out, have fun. Do what women do. Guys, you can watch, and you can ask questions, but don't join in the discussions. Observe and learn. The way you see these women interacting is how most women expect you to interact with them because we all expect everyone to be like us. We're different, and you may see things in here that will explain a lot of the flack you've caught in the past, and give you an idea of how to avoid the problem in the future.

"What's your sign?" I still remember people asking that immediately after an introduction back in the 60's and 70's. We've all been amused by daily horoscopes in the newspaper and such. There are also those who erroneously view astrology as an occult religion and denounce it without understanding, as well as those who can distinguish between fantasy and the science of cycles, radio waves, and gravity, and use astrology as an aid to decision-making with great success.

As with any discipline, for every competent practitioner there is a charlatan who makes a mockery of the discipline and a lazy dolt who scratches the surface and claims "grand master" status, so some people are understandably "turned off" of the idea. If you are someone who has issues with astrology, you are cordially invited to simply not participate in this forum. Those who are interested really don't care what you think about it and anything you have to say will fall on deaf ears. As with all other parts of this forum, you are encouraged to participate in the areas that interest you and abstain from posting judgmental or bigoted statements against other users. And as with all other sections of this forum, violation will get you banned, so if you have an ax to grind, grind it elsewhere.

For those of you who are interested in astrology on any level, we have arranged a rare treat for you. Moderating this forum will be Karen White of Divine Time Astrology, a practitioner of Vedic astrology, the most ancient and seemingly accurate of the astrological methods which originated in India. Vedic astrology is very scientific, focusing on cycles, energy flows, etc., that have been observed for longer than the average person can even imagine. I was given a personal reading as a demonstration, and I was shocked at how it aligned with events and tendencies in my own life, so if you have even a passing casual interest, you should find this forum worth your time.

Anything goes. Chit-chat, get to know each other, exchange contact info, meet singles, and anything else you want to do, as long as it is no more explicit than R-rated. No porn, no sex stories, no language you wouldn't use in mixed company. We don't need the feds reaming us on COPPA issues, even though no children are allowed here.
